My Story

KIMCOAST is my Virtual Assistant business. I have 30 years of business workflow experience in financial services, product sales and real estate sales. Small businesses hire me to act as their part-time “virtual assistant”. I live in Cold Spring Harbor, NY with my husband Pete and the occasional visit by our adult sons, Oscar and Henry.

Here’s my story:

In 1991, right out of LEHIGH University, I spent the first 8 years of my adult life working in Manhattan at an investment counseling firm, crunching performance numbers and keeping high net-worth portfolios orderly. Corresponding with clients, banks and brokerage firms was an all day, everyday, part of my job and I loved it!

In 1999 things changed when I left to have a baby (Oscar). Once a brand new mom, I couldn’t imagine going back to the office. Henry came along soon thereafter (in 2001), so I started my own direct sales business, mentored by some very inspiring women. In 2006 I transitioned from selling products to selling homes in my beautiful coastal area on the north shore of Long Island.

Through my office associates, mentors and corporate staff at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, I fine-tuned my sales and people skills and have been successfully selling residential real estate ever since. When you are helping people with the largest purchase and/or sale of their lives you become very good at forming trustworthy relationships. Some of my past clients are close friends of mine today! Clients have always appreciated my responsiveness, professionalism and my upbeat personality. In my office I am known as the “paperwork person” due to my desire for order and compliance. Attention to detail and organizational skills are just some of my strengths. I love projects and writing and proofreading!

Over the years and alongside my real estate career, I have helped numerous friends and family members with administrative work to get or keep them organized. I am looking to expand that part of my business and spend more time helping others get results and success in their small companies, while having more control over my own work.
